Prairie Style Dress for Betsy McCall or Jane
Betsy looks so lady-like in this dress.
Betsy loves flowers and this dress has lots of them. It is made of quilter's cotton and closes in back with snaps. The dress has a raised waist and two large pockets in the front. The pockets as well as the neckline and sleeves are trimmed with delicate lace.
Betsy hints: This dress would look great with a pinafore and bloomers!

You can order this dress in any fabric. Lace will vary, depending on what I have on hand. Please discuss your preferences with me. If you would rather, the neckline (and sleeves) can be trimmed with tiny piping or ric-rac. For a small additional charge the hemline can also be trimmed.
Sometimes Betsy likes bloomers to match!
Here is Betsy's cousin, Jane, modeling a slightly different version of the dress.
Jane's dress closes in back with buttons and loops. The skirt is slightly wider than Betsy's and the sleeves are not quite as puffed. The pocket trim is now on the top of the pockets. Betsy asked for these modifications when I made another and she also requested the little buttons that trim the front of her dress.
When you order something from my store, there will be occasional modifications of this sort incorporated into the 'new edition' of the pattern. Major changes would, of course, be discussed with you when you place your order.

Shipping Cost and additional Shipping Information:
Shipping for this item is $2.50 by first class to U.S. destinations.
When you place an order we will discuss a shipping date, which will usually be only a few days after your payment clears. All items are shipped with delivery confirmation. First class shipping within the continental USA will usually be $2.50 for the first item (see individual listings, heavier items will be more) and $.50 for each additional item. Priority mail services will start at $4.50 with additional charges for larger orders. Shipment to Canada or other destinations will be at cost and this will be discussed at the time of purchase. Shipping fees will vary as postage rates change. Insurance is recommended. I cannot be responsible for things after they leave my hands.

Customers outside of the USA must pay with PayPal.
